11mg or 20mg?
The gap between the two Rush strengths is big, so it's worth getting right.
- 11mg is a medium strength pouch. It suits most people who smoke or vape daily. If you've never used a pouch before, this is still on the firm side, and a low strength pouch is a kinder place to start.
- 20mg is a strong pouch. Pick it only if you already use pouches around the 14mg to 16mg mark and they've stopped doing much.
Only Grape Ice and Peppermint Ice come in both. Cherry Ice is 20mg only. Berry Ice, Watermelon Ice and Nordic Peppermint are 11mg only.
Which Rush flavour?
If you want mint without anything else going on, Nordic Peppermint is the plain one. Peppermint Ice is the same idea turned colder. Among the fruit flavours, Grape Ice is the one to pick if you think you might want to step up in strength later, because you can stay on the same flavour.
If you like the icy fruit style, Pablo and Killa do a lot of it at higher strengths, and 77 covers the middle ground.
How to use Rush pouches
Tuck one pouch between your top lip and gum, off to one side, and leave it alone. The cooling flavours tingle more than most in the first couple of minutes. That settles. Most people keep a pouch in for 20 to 30 minutes, then bin it. Don't chew or swallow it.
If you get hiccups, a racing heart or feel lightheaded, take it out. That's too much nicotine, and the fix is the 11mg next time.
